منذ انطلاق موقعها الإلكتروني عام ٢٠١٦ كان لمجلة رمان الثقافية داعم وحيد هو موقع بوابة اللاجئين الفلسطينيين، وهو اليوم داعم رئيسي وغير وحيد. مع الأعوام تبيّنت أكثر ضرورة المجلة ومسؤوليتها تجاه المشهد الثقافي الفلسطيني خاصة، والمشرقي والعربي عامة، لكن الميزانية الثابتة والمحدودة للمجلة كما كانت عامل استقرار، كانت كذلك عائقاً أمام التطور، تحريرياً وتقنياً، ما جعلنا نفكر في موارد إضافية لدعم غير مشروط، تعزّز استقرارنا وتسمح لنا بالتطور، وتثبّت الاستقلالية التحريرية التي تمتعنا ونتمتع بها.

قمنا أولاً بتسجيل مؤسسة غير ربحية مرخّصة في فرنسا وخاضعة لقوانينها، باسم Romman Culture، مسؤوليتها إصدار المجلة، وبدأنا بمحاولات توسيع مصادر الدخل وتنويعها من خلال مؤسسات عربية وعالمية تدعم الصحافة المستقلة، وتضمن لنا ما تعوّدنا عليه من استقلالية تحريرية، وتخصص في الصحافة الثقافية.

أولى الثمار كانت في الشكل: الموقع الإلكتروني الجديد، لنحرز تطوراً تقنياً وبصرياً يفتتح مرحلة جديدة للمجلة بدأناها في أكتوبر ٢٠٢٤. هدفنا المقبل هو المضمون: التطوير التحريري وبناء فريق مهني، وتحسين النشر كماً ونوعاً.

لذلك، نواصل سعينا في البحث عن داعمين ماليين للمجلة، أفراداً ومؤسسات، فكلما تنوّع الدعم زادت استقلاليتنا عن كلّ جهة داعمة. وكلما كان الدعم فردياً وبالتبرع لمرة واحدة أو بشكل منتظم، تعزّزت الاستقلالية.

ولذلك أيضاً أضفنا إلى الموقع الجديد إمكانية التبرع المالي إلى حساب المجلة المصرفي في فرنسا، من قبل قرّاء المجلة وأصدقائها والمؤمنين بدورها الثقافي وبضرورة استمراريتها أولاً، واستقلاليتها ثانياً، وتخصصها ثالثاً، وكي نكتب، دائماً، لفلسطين…

Continuity and independence

Since the launch of its website in 2016, Rumman Cultural Magazine has had a single supporter, the Palestinian Refugee Portal website, which is today a major, but not sole, supporter. However, the magazine's fixed and limited budget was a stabilizing factor, but it was also an obstacle to development, both editorially and technically, which made us think about additional sources of unconditional support that would enhance our stability, allow us to develop, and establish the editorial independence that we have enjoyed and enjoy.

We first registered a non-profit organization licensed in France and subject to its laws, Romman Culture, which is responsible for publishing the magazine, and we began attempts to expand and diversify our sources of income through Arab and international institutions that support independent journalism, guarantee us the editorial independence we are used to, and specialize in cultural journalism.

The first fruits were in form: The new website, to achieve a technical and visual development that opens a new phase for the magazine, which we started in October 2024. Our next goal is content: Editorial development, building a professional team, and improving the quality and quantity of publishing.

Therefore, we continue to seek financial backers for the magazine, both individuals and institutions, as the more diverse the support, the more independent we will be from each backer. The more individualized, one-time or regular donations, the greater the independence.

This is also why we have added to the new website the possibility of financial donations to the magazine's bank account in France, by readers and friends of the magazine who believe in its cultural role and the necessity of its continuity first, its independence second, its specialization third, and to write, always, for Palestine...
